Design Kit & Design System | One NZ

Scope

In April 2023, formerly known as Vodafone NZ since 1998, the company has rebranded itself as One New Zealand to better reflect its deep connections and legacy in the country, the primary focus was to adapt the brilliant new branding by Misterwolf and translate it for a seamless website experience.

The project scope rapidly expanded to encompass leading the creation of a comprehensive design system. This involved establishing and documenting a digital design system, conducting extensive core product page audits, implementing responsive web design, providing creative direction, and collaborating closely with a cross-functional team of engineers and product managers.

A responsive UI kit & Design System

By adopting the design system, the design approach is guided, fostering seamless collaboration between design and engineering teams, setting up the component library takes extra time, but it's a future-proof investment. The system offers reusable components, promoting efficiency and consistency while allowing for future growth. As a result, teams are empowered to deliver a seamless user experience, and designers can focus on addressing strategic customer pain points rather than basic interface problems.
